To: Yosemitest

At the Farm, I use to hand feed peanuts to herds(?) of squirrels and chipmunks, but like all wild critters, they belong in the wild, not as pets. Those teeth and claws are VERY destructive.

I agree, but I've had them before when a tree was cut that was hollow in the top and the baby squirrels were probably only 2 weeks old.
We raised them on a child's toy baby bottle, and we fed them caned condensed milk, until they were old enough to eat crunched peanuts from a pack.
