Conservative principles win, every time they are offered.
Not since Reagan has anything remotely resembling conservative principles been offered. The intervening GOP candidates have always tried to “split the difference” between what the Democrats have finagled and some lesser but similar objective.
And Ted Cruz is an ace of a salesman for conservative thought. We have an early steer on broadcasting just what those principles are, and by the grace of God and favorable winds, the word can get out to more people than ever, most especially those who have not been moved to cast a vote in several elections now.
