Im down. Been ready for a looong time... Waiting for enough of you folks to catch up.
Blah, blah, blah.
It’s been TRIED— and did not work out all that well.
Have you noticed just how TINY the deep-blue areas controlled by the bad guys are? That’s what I call a target-rich environment for our side.
I’ll vote for rebellion and regime change, meself.
Faster, quicker, neater and less bloodshed.
Article V is less of a long shot is much to be preferred.
If succession succeeds it marks the beginning of a host of problems as each remnant is weaker and more vulnerable but if Article V produces real reform it marks the dawn of a better day.
Let God do it. When He gets ready, all of the guns, military equipment, men and women who would crush your rebellion will themselves be swept away. The hand is now writing on the wall, but they can not see it.
Seems like we have been doing pretty good for ourselves just by showing up and voting.
I do not believe it will be allowed this time either.
Ted Cruz is a last chance. If we can place him in the White House I think we can start to turn things around.
Drop the word secession, add the word impeachment, help the backbones of Washingtonian republicans to grow, and count me in.

State by state secession is the only way to go. The state legislatures have an obligation to nullify the Federal govt when they over step their bounds, even to the point of secession. If it means war so be it.
Look at the map it is South mid west vs east - west. Your plan has too many moving parts. Sorry you can't pussy foot your way out of the Suicide Pact that the USA has become. I will not buy your book. But we are sort of on the same side.
"The withdrawal of a State from a league has no revolutionary or insurrectionary characteristic. The government of the State remains unchanged as to all internal affairs. It is only its external or confederate relations that are altered. To term this action of a Sovereign a 'rebellion' is a gross abuse of language."
"Obstacles may retard, but they cannot long prevent the progress of a movement sanctified by its justice, and sustained by a virtuous people ."
"Secession belongs to a different class of remedies. It is to be justified upon the basis that the States are Sovereign. There was a time when none denied it. I hope the time may come again, when a better comprehension of the theory of our Government, and the inalienable rights of the people of the States, will prevent any one from denying that each State is a Sovereign, and thus may reclaim the grants which it has made to any agent whomsoever."
"The contest is not over, the strife is not ended. It has only entered upon a new and enlarged arena." Jefferson Davis, address to the Mississippi legislature - 16 years after the wars end.
"The principle for which we contend is bound to reassert itself, though it may be at another time and in another form."
President Davis
The author is right about the importation of illegal third-worlders so as to ensure a permanent RAT majority.
Secession only gives them a reason to escalate with force; a sure way to lose support of moderates; will only end in tyrannical oppression of freedom loving people;
Reform comes from standing toe to toe pointing out the flaws in their thinking and structure... We have no opposition party, just democrat lite.
Land mass is not a constituency.
That’s essentially what the author tries to claim by showing islands of Blue in See of red. You can’t get elected president because you won the most land mass. You have to win the most Electoral College votes — which are apportioned by population — so land mass voting demographics, though disheartening really are meaningless.
The Senate is the balance beam of Government. No matter what the population, California has no more votes in the Senate as does Rhode Island.
Anybody who thinks succession is an option is a Net.looney.bin.
Sovereignty is still inextricably linked with territory. This is ironic, as you look at that predominantly red map of the U.S. But the areas of dense population are seeds of poison.
Secession needs to start with one state or even less, and the first thing to avoid is an area with numerous large cities.
That, or find a way to unravel sovereignty and territory.
Secession / NA Social Structure bump for later...
I believe it would be far “easier” for all citizens in the red voting districts to arm themselves sufficiently and stop paying federal taxes. Let the fight for freedom come to our door.
If secession comes I don’t see it partitioning the country in two. I think three countries, maybe four, is far more likely. And if secession be our fate then I’d far rather see my state of Missouri join with the rest of the plains and Rocky Mountain states and go our own way. Texas and the South can go their own way. And the rest of the U.S. can do whatever they want.
California's done...so are Vermont and New York.Georgia isn't,nor is Nebraska.
For later reading and contemplation....
Bill, thank you for your service to our country.
Thank you for this treatise.
I did not grow up in a balkanized America, but more and more it seems I am living in one today.
We need to rediscover what made us great—God, family, freedom.
My fear with secession is that the liberal section will be picked off by our enemies, and the good part will then be encircled and possibly eliminated.
You have a done a lot of thinking here, and I don’t dismiss it out of hand.
We are reaching a fracture point in America, and to me, it is absolutely deliberate. The elite who think they will benefit will be the first that are eliminated when the real power appears. But that task of America’s destruction will be already have been done.
I don’t know what the answer is.
I pray we have one more chance to keep the flame of freedom from being extinguished.
If we fail, we may have no choice but to follow what you have described for self preservation, even just for a portion of our country.
