It is interesting to see the way that the liberal media is dancing around this. Nearly every article mentions his place of birth (Canada), many articles try to say that both of his parents were from Cuba, they pretty much all call him a freshman legislator. This article mentions a number of other liberal smears but attributes them to others, “Like Sarah Palin’s annoying younger brother” and “Your Racist Uncle's Favorite Candidate.”
It is all very underhanded but a little amusing to see these race baiting slimebags try to figure out how to form their lines of attack. They are ready to pounce, but they are not sure how to do it yet. It will be interesting to see how this develops.
You could see this in that fundraising email they sent out. First they say Cruz gives them a cold chill, then they say their eyes are rolling at his announcement. So it's like, which is it. Is Cruz an evil dark lord like Dick Cheney or is he a laughingstock like Palin? Their problem is that if they try one of these characterizations and it doesn't stick -- as it probably won't -- they're going to look like idiots with egg on their face. So they are dithering.
