Ted Cruz frightened both Democrats and Republicans with his announcement on Monday that he is running for President.

Ted Cruz has Tea Party values – he wants a much smaller Federal government and less government interference in the lives of the American people. This agitates Washington politicians on both the Left and the Right, as a good number of them seem to enjoy their power and their prestige.

Ted Cruz promised that as President he would have a flat income tax with fair equitable taxation for all Americans. He would secure our border. He would shut down ObamaCare and would reduce the size and reach of our government.

Ted Cruz has better ideas and more courage than most Republicans do in Congress. Ted Cruz would accomplish much, returning the size and scope of our Federal government to its intended boundaries. Such courage frightens both Democrats and Republicans.

I like Cruz more than any other candidate. But he needs to learn to talk. Cruz’s speech at Liberty University should have been delivered in ten to fifteen minutes, not thirty.

This guy gets what I mean. I think he REALLY nails it when he notes how Cruz seems to believe “that every line deserves to be an applause line.”
