I have voted for ever loser the Republicans have put up since Nixon, One of those slowed down the march to Utopia and he was reviled by the media and the GOPe and even he did little to address the Social Issues. Remember he promised to abolish the Department of Education, he also stated that a Country that can't control its borders is no Country at all.

Yet here we are on the brink of destruction of the Republic and you seem more worried about the Pot Head lobby than the people of Principle whose words mean something. In 64 the big issue was Vietnam but Social Conservative voters have always been aware of the underlying agenda of Progressives at least some of us were, sadly most were not aware that the GOPe had the same goals on Social Issues.
