The dual rotary wing set themselves make for a huge target without mentioning the mechanical nightmare it takes to run them. I wonder how well that contraption auto rotates to make a safe landing?

I too looked at the picture and said that dual nightmare. You better have excellent mechanics to keep that dual drive working.

I think visually it is a bad desigm

The Ruskies have run contra rotating props on aircraft forever so at least they’re not starting from scratch.

Bull. There are places in eastern Europe using similar choppers for cropdusting. They are 50 years old, sitting next to as old tractor, receiving similar maintenance to these tractors and still safely flying.
