I’ve always wondered what those lines are on the canopy. The Harrier has them as well. Are they det cord or something in case of a bail out?

For the Harrier, they are indeed explosives in the case of an ejection. However, ejection-seat based helicopters have not yet come into fruition...

Cool, I always wondered what those were for.

I just realized that ejecting upwards would be a bit problematic if the blades are still there...

I am no engineer but I would assume that putting ejection seats on a helicopter might be a BAD idea.
