Federal spending and debt are out of control
If America does not change course, the future will be dramatically worse. Now more than ever, it is crucial that Americans understand what our nation's spending, taxes, and debt mean for them and their families. The Heritage Foundation's Federal Budget in Pictures offers a unique tool to learn about the federal budget in a clear and compelling way.
If a median-income family spent and borrowed like the federal government does, it would spend $61,000 despite earning only $52,000. It would pile $9,000 on top of an already massive debt of more than $311,000like having a mortgage, only without the house.

No problem. Just print more and it becomes worth less, and therefore easier to pay back. We’re the federal government. Now we have a new program for inflation relief./s
“If you are questioning Heritage’s numbers,”
Yes
Sources: Congressional Budget Office, Treasury Department, and U.S. Census Bureau.
Their guess is as good as anyone’s, even a guy on the internet.
In any case, maybe the economists at Heritage would like to hear from you.
Found my tagline missing ... Here it is again.
“You just demonstrated that you are not capable of “figuring things out for yourself,” either.”
Hows that?
Is it time to mow the yard yet? Heritage has a mower. It might not work the best, but it will do the job. Or would you prefer to imagine a mower to do the job on your own?
“Or would you prefer to imagine a mower to do the job on your own?”
Don’t try to change the subject.
Tell me how I “demonstrated” “not capable of” figuring things
out for my self.
Certainly you can figure it out for yourself, it’s a fairly simple analogy. If you can’t, then you’ll be contradicting yourself.
Ok, so the answer is none.
Since you are incapable of grasping the obvious,
the source used by the The Heritage Foundation was
the Congressional Budget Office, Treasury Department, and U.S. Census Bureau.
They used these sources not because
they were accurate but because it was in their own words
so to say. Now if you are one to hold these sources to
be accurate, especially during this administration and
this congress, then you are gullible and there is no hope
for you. However if you are capable of any rational thought
you would know that they are the ones most likely,
like you, to be pulling these figures out of their but.
Instead, you naturally assume the boy part in “1rudeboy”
and resort to being insulting. Hope you learned your lesson.
Bump
Here’s the deal: when CBO, Treasury, and Census are caught falsifying their numbers, Heritage probably is the first (or one of the first) to catch it. Not some guy who pulls numbers out of his ass on the internet, or some other guy (you) who foolishly defends his practice.
“Heritage probably is the first”
The key word being “probably” means you really don’t know,
which is a good example of pulling something out of your....
Take a few years and grow up then come back to this conversation.
Ok, so did the other guy use the word “probably?” Didn’t think so. And you didn’t have a problem with it, instead yammering something about learning to think for oneself. Looks like consistency isn’t one of your stronger characteristics.
Yeah, but only half of the family is working. Put the other half to work, and you’ll have enough income to start paying down the debt.
