For Obama, Bibi’s words matter while Iran’s don’t [Netanyahu & Israel]

White House spokesman Josh Earnest echoed the sentiment in last Thursday’s White House briefing that the Prime Minister’s words could bring punishment. “Words matter,” he said. There could be “consequences” for Netanyahu’s statements. “Everybody who’s in a position to speak on behalf of their government understands that that’s the case, and particularly when we’re talking about a matter as serious as this one.”

So let’s get this straight. When foreign leaders speak, it matters. What they say is consequential. Bibi’s going to have to pay for his remarks.

But I have one question. Why doesn’t any of this apply to Iran? Why, on Saturday Ayatollah Ali Khameini uttered the words “Death to America” even as John Kerry was expressing optimism the very same day that the United States would come to a nuclear accord with Iran!

Suddenly, Iran’s words don’t matter?

By now it’s clear to all that President Obama positively loathes Prime Minister Netanyahu more any other world leader. His hostility to the Prime Minister has become so pronounced that the President can no longer disguise or control it.

Am I the only one that finds it just a touch unseemly for the leader of the free world to hate the leader of the only free country in the Middle East?

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's LONG-STANDING POLICY of supporting the TWO-STATE SOLUTION is clear, goes back to when Obama became President, hasn't changed in all that time ... and ... has been re-affirmed by Netanyahu REPEATEDLY over the last few days -- AND YET -- Obama ignores that and hammers Netanyahu on the basis of a LIE that Netanyahu does not support a Two-State Solution.

Obama is a BIG LIAR in saying that Netanyahu does not support a TWO-STATE SOLUTION,

This a FALSE statement from the press and from Obama. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has REPEATEDLY sought to correct the mistaken impression that he does not support a TWO-STATE SOLUTION.

He does support it and he says that he has maintained that same support ... going back to his Bar-Ilan speech, when Obama first got into office. He says his position in support of the Two-State Solution has not changed since then.

What it is ... is that the liberal press and Obama want to hammer on Netanyahu no matter what ... and they’ve picked up on a LIE that Netanyahu does not support the Two-State Solution.

Here’s Netanyahu’s support for a Two-State Solution from what he has been referring to in the last several days to COUNTER THIS LIE!

The problem is the Netanyahu will support a two-state solution if and when the PA rejects it’s notion that Israel should cease to exist [I know it’s is contradictory - but that’s how the leftist think].

It is a bit like the illegal immigration problem. The GOP does not object to immigration from Latin nations - just believes it should be legal and controlled by a secure border. The left rejects that too.

Don’t ignore the fact, though, that there has been a “progression” in the last twenty years in setting up the TWO-STATE SOLUTION. It has been a very very slow progression towards that goal, but it has been happening. And even if it takes another twenty years ... that “progression” will continue, and Netanyahu will work with the Palestinian Authority in this progression ... even if Netanyahu never gets to the “final status talks” where the Palestinian State is finally implemented.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu outlined how he will “progress” with this setting up of the TWO-STATE SOLUTION in his Bar-Ilan policy speech, back in 2009, and Netanyahu states he is still on track for that, today!

SO ... it’s not like “no progression” is taking place with Netanyahu right now ... it’s just that they haven’t gotten to the “final status talks” yet!

Obama holds Bibi to his words in one speech but lets Obama off the hook for lying and lying and lying.

If Obama ever told the truth to Americans it would be by mistake.

Oh, there’s no irony in the fact that Obama is saying Netanyahu’s words can’t be trusted, when Obama’s never spoken a word out of his own mouth that wasn’t a complete, made-up, fabricated LIE.

As Obama knows very well, and as Netanyahu has made clear repeatedly after the election ... Netanyahu has not abandoned his Bar-Ilan policy speech regarding his support for the Two-State Solution.

Obama is trying to take a misunderstood campaign blurb and turn into a major policy reversal. It’s no such thing and Obama knows it!
