The End Times are drawing near when a man of God such as Reverend Graham is the target of this kind of venom.
If Wallis were concerned about the Bible, he would have begun by going to Franklin Graham privately to discuss his concerns about Franklin’s statements and/or actions. If that didn’t work, he would go to Franklin with the others in the letter, to discuss the situation. Only then, if they were still convinced that FG was sinning, would they go before the church and present their case, in humility. But let’s be honest about this: this has nothing to do with faith and everything to do with politics, which is a concern in this world and not the next.
‘Devil’ is a Malcomb X racist term.
Persecution always starts within the “church” before it comes from the culture at large.
As is in the “Days of Noah” so shall it be during end times.
God bless Franklin Graham. May no weapon formed against him prosper.
Like Satan in Matthew 4, he employs the words of God to tempt and attack the Body of Christ.
We are told in James 4:7 to "resist the devil and he will flee". Likewise, the believing Church should resist this evil man. On the great and terrible Day of the Lord, I fully expect to see Wallis among Satan's throng amassed to attack Christ.
Franklin Graham has blossomed into the leader of the US Christian world right before our eyes. He speaks truth to power. The past 5-10 years has see his transformation into a worthy successor to his Dad.
So Cliven Bundy should have meekly given in to the BLM?
Gee, that was the same “racist” advice my white parents gave me as a white 5 year old. Always obey the sheriff.
“..... that lawful authority (authority that does not abuse its position)”
You might want to take another run at that as it was clearly stated.
Bundy was in the wrong and should have abided by the law before there ever was a standoff. His supporters seem to be allergic to the facts of his case, preferring to focus on the BLM’s incompetence, rather than his malfeasance.
[The End Times are drawing near when a man of God such as Reverend Graham is the target of this kind of venom.]
Who gets to decide that authority is abusing its position?
I think it’s questionable as to whether the BLM acted lawfully when they arguably violated the Bundy’s et al civil and land use rights.
Persons should obey the constitution, including political leaders, law enforcemement, judges, and bureaucrats. The problem we have today is that few in government even give a thought to what is supposed to be the highest law in the land. Many of our laws/regulations are essentailly unconstitutional; only twisted legal rationalization by immoral magistrates gives these rules their authority.
We really can’t obey or morally respect a “lawful” authority that gives illegal & unconstitutional orders.
Every time Wallis is mentioned it reminds me of one of his retarded minions placed in my father coffin. Grrrrr. Wallis is not a Christian.
Why those that are the recipient of the abusive authority... silly.
[[1. Persons should individually obey lawful authority.

NO He said LAWFUL authority- what they were trying to do to him was UNLAWFUL
Wallis is an apostate.
