The Sunday Morning Bray, by Bray!
Isaiah 23:17 [Full Chapter] At the end of seventy years, the LORD will deal with Tyre. She will return to her lucrative prostitution and will ply her trade with all the kingdoms on the face of the earth.
One of my friends said he decided not to pay his taxes to the gummit this year. Rather, he gave it to a Mexican who was mowing a lawn and said he was just skipping the middle man. He asked, what is the point of contributing his hard earned money to a broken political system when it is going to end up in Pocos hand anyway? We have two parties, one that is owned by the communist run unions and the other which is run by the Chamber of Commies. There is no longer a way for the hard working producers of this country to be heard let alone represented.
As we saw in November when you do elect politicians who claim to have American ideals, as soon as they get to the District of Corruption they turn and follow the socialist crowd. The system is so corrupt with group think there is almost no way for an independent voice to stand on his principles without being punished. Anybody who thinks outside the group is going to be forced to either support the unions or the chamber. Neither Party is going to support the people who pay the taxes.
When you have the two major Parties established and organized around the two largest organizations there is no way the people are going to fit into the equation. The unions were originally established to represent the worker, but have long sense become nothing more than a Marxist organization to promote their radical agenda. The same can be said for the Chamber of Commerce as they have become nothing more than an organization to promote crony capitalism. This is even more corrupt than the unions in that they infect the ideal of capitalism by choosing winners and losers through gummit contracts.
The Chamber began as a voice for the small businessman to give him a place at the table of government. They were supposed to allow them input against excessive regulation and taxation that could interfere with a healthy business environment. This was a critical component with the development and working of a small business that is fighting the larger businesses which can withstand excessive regulation and taxation. As the Chamber grew it became more and more ingrained with the gummit as well as those larger businesses. As their power grew and their government connections became stronger their mission changed from representation to political gamesmanship and graft.
Now the Chamber is more interested in milking the taxpayers through corporate welfare than making sure there is a healthy business environment. Most Chambers are nothing more than the arm of the gummit with their leaders having their hands deeply in the taxpayer pockets through public works programs like Light Rail and public transportation. The Chambers biggest donors are also the owners of companies which are heavily involved with gummit projects and services. Nationally they will be supporting the same projects the Unions are supporting and will always side with the largess and spending of bigger and bigger gummit.
Now we have two Parties which are deeply infected by corruption and distrust by the American people. The Republican Party is losing members right and left and the only reason the Dems are holding onto their people is they have nowhere to go. The average Democrat is far less informed and more brainwashed than their counterparts in the Repub Party even though you could never convince them since they think they are more informed. Its just that everything they know is wrong since they believe in the liberal dogma. They believe Marxist clichés are knowledge. The Dems have built a socialist cult built around earth worship and absolute tolerance of every perversion so to leave the Party is an unforgivable sin. This is why the more conservative members stay since it is heresy to question the doctrine and leaving is like leaving the Mooselimb religion, it isnt done.
So what is a conservative Repub or Dem to do? It really isnt as hopeless as it seems. What if everything we know or have been taught about politics is wrong? What if there actually is a third way in American politics which has not been tried by conservatism? We have developed a method which is extremely effective through the use of petitions. The beauty of petitions is they are not political and can go around the roadblock of politicians and directly to the American people.
We ran a number of petitions to shut down Light Rail in Portland Oregon. For us it was more than just a boondoggle it was a spiritual battle between the dirt worshipers in Portlandia and God fearing Christians outside of P-Town. We organized a small group of conservatives who coincidentally had an average age of 75 and used some very sophisticated methods to promote our petitions.
The petitions were very restrictive to the point the cities could not spend a dime on planning and construction of Light Rail or designated buses without a vote of the people. The unions and Chamber of Commies screamed like stuck pigs that the people would decide something that was supposed to be decided by the city councils and mayors who were in the pockets of the unions and Chamber.
Within three years we passed three petitions and had successful votes on all three with large majorities in two of the three. The only one which was close we were outspent 10 to 1 and was fought by the entire Left Wing establishment from the media to all the politicians up to the Presidents goons.
These were petitions that had support from both sides of the voting aisle although was opposed by both sides leadership. Both Parties fought against us from a leadership standpoint, but we received support from conservative grassroots from both sides.
There is now a voting roadblock down the most important spoke of the grand plan of Light Rail. This has for the near term put a stake through the heart of this multi-billion dollar boondoggle which was loved by the Unions and the Chamber as well as both Parties and every communist group including Obamas Organizing America. The only people who didnt love it were taxpayers and automobile owners who repeatedly thanked us for giving them a voice. We actually stopped over $10 billion of waste and Portlandias pride and joy with less than thirty people during evenings and weekends.
This is the third way. It is not a third Party, but is an organization which can change the way things are done politically. It is far easier than it appears and with a few effective methods and procedures as well as solid leadership and messaging can change the face and structure of the political landscape. This takes the power out of the hands of the Unions and Chamber and puts it in the hands of the people. Petitions are effective and efficient so there is very little money involved, but the dialogue which is generated will amaze and invigorate the people as they begin to realize they can have a voice at the table they never enjoyed. I have written a manual explaining how to get petitions on the ballot and how to win the vote and it is not rocket science. It is political science, but not complicated like Global Warming...er Rocket Science. This is the third way.
Pray America is waking
