A number of studies have shown that there is no relation between the money spent on a public school and academic success. Students, with the backing of their parents, who want to achieve and succeed will do so no matter how much or how little money is spent on their schools.

It is the student and his family that is the most important factor by far in educational success. School administration and teacher quality is strictly secondary.
