I know a 40 year old woman in whom they found an aneurysm, treated it then suddenly discovered a more threatening one in her brain that literally forced her into bed for months. It's amazing to me that they can sometimes find these silent killers before they pop.

I know a few people who have died from them. My friend’s MIL is one who amazingly survived. They were on vacation in Mexico and her headache was so bad she insisted on seeing a doctor. Her husband thought she was crazy, but she insisted so he took her. It was an aneurism and they were able to treat it. Amazing.
