A top U.S. Forest Service executive told his employees to probe their own unconscious bias on everything from race and sexuality to the disabled and fat people, asking them to use an unproven assessment tool to explore their feelings.

I am amazed this stuff goes back 6 years. Management is just about to require this training. And I am thinking, when did you get your license to practice Clinical Psychology, and how dare you presume to know what I am thinking, consciously or not!

I live in an area where National Forests stretch for 100 miles+ in one direction and 80 miles in the other. There is a district office 2 miles from here. I see Forest Service people in their vehicles and at the grocery store quite often and never once has there been one who was of visible African ancestry.
