This is good news. The elimination of coal as a fossil fuel would severely damage the economy.

When the GOP leadership shows positive efforts to stop Obama's unconstitutional train wreck, I'm with them.

Let's hope this effort by McConnell goes somewhere.

McConnell is an effeminate POC. I will never care what he says again.

Yes, the war on coal is bad for the country and bad for the economy.

Remind me again why I should have any expectation that Yertle will be successful in combating it, and why I should get all excited about supporting his effort.

You can pound coal-tar sand, McConnell.

What planet do you live on?

Bonehead and McConnell always look for others to fight their battles for them. Bonehead and The Gobbler have tools to stop Obama’s insanity.

Yet they look to others to hide behind such as the courts and now states.
After all the GOP has majorities in both houses.

Thank you for referencing that article PROCON. Please bear in mind that the following critique is directed at the article and not at you.

Noting that Reid is/was much worse than McConnell imo, I think that RINO McConnell should be on top of list of reasons to repeal the ill-conceived 17th Amendment.

All that McConnell needs to do to stop the constitutionally undefined EPA dead in its tracks is the following. He needs to point out that not only have the states never delegated to the feds, expressly via the Constitution, the specific power to regulate intrastate environmental issues, but even if the states had delegated such power to the feds, Congress has no constitutional authority to delegate such powers to non-elected federal bureaucrats like those running the EPA.

The 17th Amendment has to go.

Joe Manchin must have sent him an SOS.
Mitch wouldn’t lift a finger for one of us.

The Senate Leader, Harry Reid, is going to block McConnell, and there’s nothing McConnell can do about it.

Funny how these leftist fascists claim the sun does not affect climate, yet they want to generate a significant amount of energy from solar. And is not absorbed sunlight exactly what they claim is causing warming ? According to their own idiotic theories they are basically replacing CO2 with solar panels. No warming reduction.

I think it would be a lovely thing - since coal is VERY important to Mitchie - if they all talked like the were going to back his play, made all the right noises...then at the last second the all, very publicly and very loudly said, “oh my, we’ve been impressed by your great leadership, and in the spirit of following the leader we are going to roll over on this one and give it to Obama without a fight. How does it feel, Mitch baby?”

McConnell urges the states to fight.

I’m waiting to see him fight. For anything.

The elimination of coal as a fossil fuel would severely damage the economy.

There are many coal fired generating plants. The operators should simply ignore the EPA mandates and hire armed security. How many SWAT teams can the EPA field? The first few standoffs would finally bring the whole sorry mess into public focus.

Fight back against tyranny.
