I so agree.
I don’t condone the adultery Charles and Camilla engaged in during his marriage to the Princess of Wales. But I don’t buy into the Diana-as-saint hype, either.
Diana was quite manipulative, and knew how to get sympathetic press coverage. That famous photo of her running to embrace her sons was a set-up by her.
Then there was her interview with Martin Bashir. She promised her son William it wouldn’t be controversial, and then she aired all of her marital dirty laundry. The child was very upset; he was made miserable at school. But she obtained the sympathy she was looking for. I find that particularly disgusting.
Well don’t worry about it too much, after all, she got what anyone should expect to get who annoys the sisterhood.
It’s quite amazing people haven’t learned by now, isn’t it?
