It does glorify ghetto culture....lol. I like it. I find it really good and funny at the same time. I am conservative in politics and social issues in real life, but with Fictional Hollywood I am pretty liberal........I will watch anything if I enjoy it. I have said that many times here. I am an adult and make decisions on TV shows on my own without any outside influences. Sorry but that is just the way it is.

“I thought it was about some show glorifying ghetto culture.”

It does in a way, but you have to take it for what it is, just a complete soap opera, it’s like a modern day Dallas.

And Cookie is great, her best line, to me, was when she said of her son’s much older love interest: oh, so you’re Yoko Ono and you want to be on the song? What can you do Yoko? Can you play the tambourine?

We originally watched the show because we like Henson so much from Person of Interest, she’s just an amazing actress.
