That’s pretty , if I had an Army/Navy store nearby I’d buy a “blue handle” and paint it up...

“EVERYone knows not to throw grenades in the garbage!
You throw them in the in-sink garbage disposal! “
Why don’t they just burn them in the fire place? That They’re sure to get a blast.

Back 30 years I was helping a friend work on his car in his Grandfather’s garage. I saw a grenade body under the bench, but it didn’t have a striker assembly and was empty. Upon further inspection I also noted—silently—it also had no hole in the bottom... Hello!

On New York Ave. in DC outside the old old Main Post Office (now a brewpub), there are trash cans. Certain of the natives used to put letters in there, so they had to be stencilled “TRASH ONLY”.

We have worried about our kids and now Grandkids finding a gun in a friends house...(training, training, training)
Over 50 years ago...a friend showed me a grenade in his Dad’s dresser drawer////It was cylinder shaped smaller than a “pineapple” type...no “spoon” on the side...it did have fracture lines in the case...when you screwed the top off there was a black flake type powder(small amount) inside...I have always wondered if it was a WWI grenade...
of course back then all of us had .22 rifles behind a door or in a closet...at about 14 or 15 us city kids were considered smart enough to go hunting by ourselves...the country cousins...probably at age 9 or 10... .

Well, I had three a few years ago. But I rendered them inert first. When I was stationed at Ft. Sill, OK back in '76, one of my buddies was a firing range NCOIC.
Somehow over the years he had "collected" a couple of dozen M67 grenades.
I haven't heard from him in years, hope he's alright. :-)

Anyone who uses loose instead of lose should have grenades thrown in their garbage. :-P
