I don’t think anyone knows what’s in those mystery meat masses. I tell you though. Those things are EVERYWHERE in Germany. I work in Dresden and Berlin frequently and you’ll find more doner kebabs than shnitzels and saurkraut.
Was stationed at Tempelhof in Berlin in the mid 80’s. Just outside the airport was a donner kebab stand, was the responsibility of the most junior ranked airman to make the donner kebab run.
