Unfortunately, most of the Irish organizations in this country are in the tank for the Democrats, just as their ancestors were in the days of Boss Tweed.
Just have a gander at this article from the Ancient Order of Hibernians. They are expressing disappointment with Cardinal Dolan--not because of his pro-abortion or pro-homo attitude but for his condemnation of Communist, pro-abortion, pro-homo Irish Republican terrorists. Yep. That's all they care about at the AOH, apparently.
It says they have a "pro-life" committee. I bet it does a lot of work.[/sarcasm]
