Our military and researchers have been working with far worse than Ebola, but also Ebola, for many decades, it is necessary.
Infectious diseases are an Army specialty. Remember the threat of bio warfare and bio terror attacks?
We have to do this research and we have to have infrastructure and preparations, and training, in America to deal with outbreaks and threats, both accidentally or randomly arriving, and also those introduced as a maximized, deliberate, and sophisticated attack on our population..

We never did hear if he/she had died or was cured. We also never heard about the others brought back to the US.
