Nowhere Man, sorry but I forgot to include your name in post #42, anyway take a look at my post #36. With an over-the-air antenna I now get MeTV for free (no cable needed).

I'm guessing MeTV is owned by one of the big three stations, and that's just something they broadcast over the air, for free, in my neck of the woods. You just need a $60 digital antenna. It's a pleasant surprise.

I looked it up and MeTV is owned by Weigel Broadcasting out of Chicago. Well, that explains Svengoolie. Mom and I watched him all thje time until her death, she always got a big kick out of the movies he showed (she saw most of them as a kid) and so on. My favorite Svengoolie movie was the Flying Mantis where the Mantis would fly from the North pole to Washington DC and you would see the Air Force scramble Sabre Jets to take on the monster. I asked Mom one time, :"what would Obama do if a Mantis would attack Washington?" and she replied, "Obama would try to ride the Mantis." I laughed so hard.

Basically it started off as a showcase for MGM TV shows and it is still that way to an extent but I see a lot of Universal stuff there too. I often joke and call it the "Aaron Spelling, Stephen Cannell and Gary L. Larson Network" since most of the time you see their names pop up in the shows, sometimes together. I'm glad for MeTV since over the air is all I can afford.
