Moved to Connecticut this past year and decided that I was not going to have cable TV in my new home. Instead, I have a Roku box hooked up and get Netflix, Amazon Prime and other Internet content delivered to my television set via the Internet.

Have not missed it at all, except for NFL football.

In which, I go to a Buffalo Wild Wings, or some other sports bar, on autumn Sundays and see the games that way, with plates of wings and mugs of cold beer.

All in all, I made the right call.

If you want to watch free streaming sports, any sport, go to VIPLeague.com. I like college basketball and NFL, and can watch any game online, they have them all. Just manage the ads at the beginning. Also any TV channel free on TVPC.com.

I am looking into getting Roku or Tivo.

Sadly I am so technology challenged, I am having a really hard time figuring out how everything “fits” together.

Do you know of a site that explains all of this mish mash to a “challenged” person?

Heck...I may just go back to an old fashioned antenna and be done with it.

That’s what I do. Watch football at Buffalo Wild Wings over some hot wings and drinks. My Roku box gets me anything else I need. Conventional TV can go suck it.
