I’m not sure I’d assume the White House wants Emanuel to win. How was Emanuel’s relationship with Jarrett? Is she going back to Chicago? What deals have been cut?

Rahm and Jarrett didn’t get along, from what I’ve heard. Both are domineering control freaks, but Rahm rightfully thought Valerie had way too much influence over Obama. She found a way to make the water so hot for so long, that Rahm bolted away from Obamas train wreck of an administration.
