Cotton says 'no regrets' about letter warning Iran about nuclear deal(Excellent)

Arkansas Sen. Tom Cotton on Sunday stood behind the letter he and fellow Senate Republicans sent to Iranian leaders about their nuclear negotiations with the United States, amid criticism that it undermined Obama administration efforts.

"It's so important we communicated this message straight to Iran," the freshman senator and member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee told CBS News' "Face the Nation.” "No regrets at all."

The letter signed Monday by Cotton and 46 other GOP senators begins as a primer to Iran leaders about the Constitution. Then it suggests that any international deal to limit Iran’s uranium-enrichment efforts toward a nuclear weapon without a congressional vote could be modified by a future Congress or revoked with “the stroke of a pen” by whoever replaces President Obama in January 2017.

Good. Don’t back down Cotton, or any one of those that signed.

Stupid media games...they constantly harangue the GOP with their guilt trips and buzzwords: critics, regret, hindsight, etc.

I thought George W. Bush’s official title was Mr President Willyoucriticize because every news conference started with that phrase.

It’s interesting in that the media clearly believe the GOP have a conscience while Democrats are allowed to careen from one disaster to another without ever being held to account.

The letter was not meant for the mad mullahs of Iran, it was meant for the mad mullah of the US just to remind the "constitutional scholar" of how things actually work in a republic.

He seems to struggle with the basic concepts.

What - no apology? Cotton isn't cowed by the leftwing scolds?

Waaaaah! Cotton didn't apologize! But...(sputter)...this can't be! Why, all Republicans are supposed to cave!

Here's what's next from the MSM/DNC playbook:

"Dems call on Republican presidential candidates and Congressional Republicans to distance themselves from Cotton harsh letter."

Secretary of State Jon Kerry told CBS on Sunday that Cotton’s gambit was an “unconstitutional, un-thought-out action by somebody who has been in the United States Senate for 60-something days."

It is the Obama, Kerry, and thedemonicrats who should apologize, along with turning themselves for giving aid and comfort to the enemy. Kerry should have been indicted, tried, convicted, and sentenced for treason decades ago.

What a difference between Cotton and the Clinton crime clan from Arkansas. A generation apart, literally and figuratively.

Obama has proven again and again he cannot be trusted.

He thinks he is king. The media allows him to think that way. I am thankful he got a reminder.
