Everyone needs to stop using Nixon as the standard for abuse of presidential power. Obama eclipsed him long ago.
But "Nixonian" Just rolls off the tongue so well. Also, Dems understand the term. In the future, we'll refer to abuses of power like this as "Obamanesque". That is, if we still have the freedom to think and/or speak freely in the future.
Nixon was a patriot who loved America.
