Asking Kerry to apologize for the completely appropriate action of fifty concerned senators seems a little like asking Jeffrey Dahmer to apologize for the selection of chocolates produced by the Ambrosia Chocolate Co. where he worked.
Sen. Cotton did not shoot himself in the foot to get a medal to take home, so he could throw it away later on camera in his fake green fatigues after consulting with Teddy “waitress sandwich,chappaquidick chauffer,drunken moron” Kennedy.
