Cell phones were rolling on a violent brawl involving Homestead middle school girls after school just feet away from school property. But it was anything other than a fair fight.
A girl in pink shorts throws the first punch at 14-year-old Angelina Padron. Padron fights back. Thats when the girls friends jump in. They punch, kick and at one point drag Padron by her hair into the street.
The fight is only broken up when a shirtless man from the neighborhood steps in to pick her up.
The situation involving the girls is so tense, a relative of Angelinas speaking out about the incident did not want to be identified.
(The video) makes you want to go hurt somebody but you cant, he told CBS4s Natalia Zea.
He says Angelina and her mother immediately reported the fight to Miami-Dade School Police and are pressing charges. The girls were suspended, as was Angelina.
The principal actually suspended her saying she participated. She shouldve got on the ground and balled up in a ball. When she was on the ground they were kicking her in the head and stomping on her, he said.
A district spokesperson says her suspension was later overturned, but Angelinas family wants much more than that.
The girls didnt even get kicked out of school, theyre still in school when they said they would kick them out, said the relative.
The District spokesperson denies that the principal made that promise.
Angelinas relative believes the school was too easy on the girls, who he says are the same girls posting messages on Facebook identifying themselves as a member of a gang and throwing up signs.
One of their pages boasts, Me and my sisters dont know what a one on one is 100 percent. Even if my sister beating life out of somebody, I aint gonna watch, Im gonna beat the life out of that (expletive) too. Thats how were raised.
The incident appears to be bigger than the brawl next to the school.
According to a police report, the mother of one of the girls that was beating up Angelina in that video threatened Angelinas mother three different times if she pressed charges against her daughter. Angelinas mother captured cell phone video of one of those alleged threats.
Florida City police say an arrest of that girls mother is pending.
A month after the attack on Angelina, someone broke the windows of her home.
They went over there, they broke the windows, they tried to pry the window open. The police have been called multiple times, said Angelinas relative.
One of the girls who he says was part of the videotaped attack on Angelina, later bragged on Facebook about breaking a girls windows. Angelinas family is now trying to save enough money to move.
In the meantime, they feel the school district and police are not doing enough to help them.
The system is broken, the relative said.
In other words, stayed armed, stay safe. Shoot to kill when your life is in danger of ending at the hands of a mob.
No recourse. No remorse.
I went to middle school in that area about 26 years ago. I see not much has changed. The school was like a prison. Being a “cracker”, as all the blacks and Hispanics used to call me and the other tiny group of whites, I didnt stay long. Parents pulled me out and put me in a really good private Christian school. My first thought after starting the private school was that I’d finally found where all the white kids were lol
17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.
If there ever was a more apt quotation of verse, I don’t know if I have seen it...
Most interesting...I don’t know what you might even think I thought you might imply, but I do find that interesting. (Okay, that was one tortured sentence!)
Was it a farming community?
Well, that is how I see it as well, though I grant there are some who would see it as naive.
Can’t change my stripes now, though.
Back in the day when I was a student, these schools were known as "reform school". I guess that that terminology is too "hurtful" for the little dears so now they've been renamed.
Bet that'll fix it right up!
A bad egg... is a bad egg.
BS!
It's taught by the jabbering murderers (rappers)...community organizer dirtbags and fake preachers like Jeremiah Wright, Jesse Jackass and Al Sharpton. The Soviets started it in the 60s.
We used to have hard-working blacks with nuclear families...business owners. LBJ and "urban renewal" destroyed all that.
And just to make it even-steven lets not allow Hillary any legal representation if and when she goes to trial.
18 year old junior high school students. Sad.
We have a saying up here in Massachusetts for occasionally clueless people like me: "Light dawns on Marblehead..."
