And turn around experts / fixers like Bob Lutz & Alan Mulally won't even throw their hat in the ring because DC is such fantasy land they can't fix it and they know it.
Levin / Article V movement is looking more and more like the only solution, it will take an exogenous forces to move the 3 branches to reform via this blow off valve in the Constitution.
I'd love to see someone like the Rand Corp go in and combine / streamline every dept and operation and make them do all the internal hard changes like industry did, i.e. Kaizen Events, Demming etc, but I might as well read the Cat Shakespeare he'd understand it better than the ruling class going through real growth by self examination and fixing things...
