Social media in Russia are abuzz with speculation over the health of President Vladimir Putin after he cancelled a foreign visit, some say because he uncharacteristically took a few days sick leave.
Putin was expected in Kazakhstan this week to meet the countrys president Nursultan Nazarbayev and their Belorussian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko. But one Kazakh official told Reuters The visit has been cancelled. It looks like he has fallen ill. Officials from Belarus would not comment on Putins absence, although Putins spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed the Kazakh visit was concelled but that the president feels fine.
Peskov tweeted on Wednesday Ill not comment on the rumours about Putins illness.

Ukrainian flu?
Seriously, last videos I saw of Putin, he did not strike me as someone suffering from pancreatic cancer. He appeared quite robust.

Yeah, every time Castro is rumored to have died you must hate the fact that liberals started those rumors. And under the Soviet Union, when those tyrants were rumored to have died, it was those damn liberals who were behind the rumors.
Meanwhile in the real world, rumors are caused by a lack of truth and transparency.
