Nah not gonna override Dad. he is 84 this year and he has the right to run his stuff the way he wants.
Thanks! We’re hoping to dump traditional methods because of price and reliability. Not to mention, you get so much garbage along with the few channels worth watching!
And in case anyone sees this post.... Don’t anyone subscribe to ATT U-Verse. It’s not worth a bucket of warm spit. It constantly cuts out. Our plain old ATT was much more reliable!
Morning! Since I posted on March 12th, SlingTV has announced it’s adding a couple more channels. We have not missed cable AT ALL. We’ve been watching the old Johnny Carson Tonight show on Youtube. Got to see Jimmy Stewart on his show. It was funny and nostalgic and included the old commercials (not as many as today!) If you get a Roku, be sure to check out the Smithsonian and History channels. Have you checked out a tv antenna for OTA (Over the Air) reception? We tried but are in a dead zone and can’t pick up tv signals, but lots of people have picked up a lot of stations - even in HD.
