Population density drives leftism. The relationship is not exactly linear, but the higher the density, the greater the percentage of leftist voters. Of course there are many exceptions, but that is generally how it works everywhere on Earth. The Jews could not own land in many host countries so traditionally were city renters. I don't think there's a large apartment rental building anywhere in America that does not vote majority Democrat.
