It’s hard to remember, but this used to be a frequent occurrence in the Midwest on big jobs. Something like power plant construction in Sioux City, Iowa, or Brownsville, Nebraska, would bring in skilled workers all the way from the East Coast.

Yep. I remember the days of Neal III and IV, and all the construction jobs those projects brought. There hasn’t been construction of that magnitude in Sioux City in 40 years.
