Parents of the second Oklahoma University student filmed conducting his Sigma Alpha Epsilon brothers along to a racist chant on a bus have outed their 'disgusting' son - but insist he isn't a racist. Brody and Susan Pettit, from Dallas, issued an apology on behalf of 20-year-old Levi on Tuesday night - three days after he was filmed singing 'There will never be a N**** in SAE' in a sickening video that has shocked the nation. He, along with Parker Rice, a 19-year-old privately-educated former Catholic schoolboy, were immediately expelled by the university president who also booted the disgraced chapter off campus and closed the SAE frat house. The Petit statement said: 'He is a good boy, but what we saw in those videos is disgusting. 'While it may be difficult for those who only know Levi from the video to understand, we know his heart, and he is not a racist.'

Or publicize the identity of the recorder, labeling him or her "The snitch among you".
The offense, in my opinion, was not worth ruining their lives and futures over. Their singing did not cause any injury to anyone (or at least, no injury comparable to what happened to the frat boys).
A better solution would have been to send the recording to the frat president, and have the two quietly kicked out of the frat.

If and when that is done, you have the First Amendment Right to protest in front of the recorder’s house and chant condemnation upon him for violating the sanctity of the frat party bus.
Or, as an employer, quietly decide I don't want this person working for me, in case he (or more likely, she) witnesses speech between two employees inside my company that he's offended by.

That could be the case, and I would support the employer in his decision.
However, I bet that dude that records someone saying that blacks should be hanging from trees has a better chance of getting a job than dude who says blacks should be hanging from trees.
