Principles: If Republicans want to know how to respond to President Obama's barbs and attacks, they should pay close attention to what Gov. Scott Walker said after Obama smacked him for signing a right-to-work bill.
Obama, who believes that he should comment on anything and everything under the sun, issued a written statement condemning the law.
"I'm deeply disappointed," he said, "that a new anti-worker law in Wisconsin will weaken, rather than strengthen, workers in the new economy."

Walker stands up to Obama and punches back — hard.
FReep Mail me if you want on, or off, this Wisconsin interest ping list.
I'll see your "deeply disappointed" and raise you an "incredibly pissed off."
But of course, you don't see me - or any one else in the world - as a "real human being," do you? We're just life-sized cardboard cutouts, aren't we?
PERFECT!
Right-to-work doesn’t prevent workers from joining unions, it prevents the government from forcing workers to join unions in exchange for a job.
Correct. And, as usual, Obama’s comment was his patented straw man argument. He makes it sound as though it would now be illegal to join a union, while the truth is that people are perfectly free to join any union they want.
Bump
Let’s wait for the court before we celebrate.
The mandate was clearly unconstitutional, but its still with us.
.
The only way unions can be viable is through coercion, intimidation and violence. Take those props away and the whole rotten edifice will come crashing down.
I cannot at all understand fellow FRiends who don’t think this guy is ready day one for this job. Nobody even comes close to the abilities of Walker.
Walker = Reagan.......I am more convinced as the days go on. Just put their Governor records up next to each other and that proves it right there.
Can’t help that some are blinded by jealousy and hate.
There’s so much “SPECIAL PLEADING” taking place to put Walker down.
Reagan didn’t cut such a revered figure due to his history, or even due to impeccable political judgment. But due to being able to put in words what Norman Rockwell had put into pictures.
Oh I know........I don’t want Walker speaking or putting into words. I want action....he passes that request.
This is the “new economy” under the Democrats where we are being liberated from our jobs.
It can’t help if he talks well too. He does not sound like an incompetent nebbish.
it can’t HURT...
Obama sucks and I’m glad my Governor reminded him of that.
Obama The Omniscient steps down from his King-Of-The-World throne to micro-manage the Ferguson, MO P.D. and courts.
Then finds time to advise a state governor as to how he should be governing his state.
Is there anything this man won’t do for the Nation?
/s
I hear you. The turkey does not have the good of the nation at heart.
Way to go Gov. Walker! I love it when conservatives fire back at abusive liberals, something that is about as common as a snowfall in July. It’s good that Walker takes no guff.
Every article I read in the news about this states that an opposing coalition INCLUDING 400 BUSINESSES...the 400 businesses are all unionized contractors that benefit from the prevailing wages clause in the Davis-Bacon act. Maybe the little guys will now get a chance.
