He didn’t just come to this conclusion. He’s been watching Issa and Gowdy (lot’s of smoke and no fire) and the Congressional “investigations” for some time now. I think he has gotten pissed and is blowing the whistle.
______________
Many on FR have found info on Mike Rogers (and others) and his intent to obstruct the formation of a select committee.

Gowdy has been given a tough job (not excusing any action or lack of action) but Elijah Cummings must be an “albatross” as well as GOPe leadership, not to mention the state dept.

Here is the entire clip of that segment.

McCarthy: Chairman Gowdy’s Failure to Release Hillary’s Email Info Shows ‘Alarming Disinterest’

On the video below:

Judge Nap is on - then around the 6 min mark the interview with Gowdy begins.

State dept has not been cooperating with the committee.

In August they saw her personal email, but no official email.

He has tried to work with State Dept and finally wrote Clinton’s lawyer and he referred him back to state dept.

He said that the committee found out the day before the NY Times article that she ONLY had private email.

How will you proceed?

Gowdy: No power to seize the server. Give her the opportunity to produce the server to an inspector general (Judge, Archivist) for review as to what is relevant.

We may have to have Clinton in a hearing more than one time. The first time will be to discuss her email arrangement.

I concede that Gowdy has an extremely tough job. Elijah is the face of obstruction. And “the chairmen of the House Intelligence, Armed Services, and Government Reform committees — Reps. Rogers, Buck McKeon, and Darrell Issa, respectively — all opposed the formation of a select committee on Benghazi.” But the select committee was formed over these objections and Gowdy made some very encouraging opening statements regarding the expected results of his committee.

Andy McCarthy points out that Gowdy's recent response to his articles is lacking in credibility ....

I’m relieved to hear that Chairman Gowdy has lost confidence in the State Department, but that begs the question why he had confidence in the first place.

I think Andy McCarthy has discovered behind the scenes that this was all Kabuki Theater (orchestrated by the Weeper of the House but with Gowdy's cooperation) and he is blowing the whistle. Although, I do wish he wouldn't have done it on PMSNBC.

If she sent emails there should be a record on the Fed servers. Comparing
email would reveal whether ones on her system were tampered with. The bad news for
Hilary is that if even one Email was removed then obstruction charges,
tampering with evidence, and being stupid would apply.

Oh, but then there's that pesky getting her server made from candy out of
the baby's hand, thing.
