Putin just awarded a medal of honor to the chief suspect in most notorious political murders

Russian President Vladimir Putin has just awarded the chief suspect in one of the past decade's most notorious political assassinations a medal of honor, AFP reports.

The Kremlin honored Andrei Lugovoi, a member of Russia's lower house of parliament, for his "great contribution to the development of the Russian parliamentary system and his active role in lawmaking."

It is kind of surprising to see someone more brazen than Obama. Gezz, the guy isn't even good at being a tyrannical dictator.

He’s just lucky that the Russians are not keen on personal liberty. You’d think 70 years of communism would have taught them the value of freedom. Instead, they’re still yearning for a Tsar, a Commisar, or Putin, president for life. Their values are those of the third world. They’re not ready or intersted in ruling themselves. The rule of law, separation of powers, constitutional government, and many other principles we fight against Obama, are not troubling to most Russians.
