CRUZ or LOSE! CRUZ or LOSE!It’s been blowing up budgets, causing massive tax increases on the communities that can least afford it, and tanking American test scores. That is not to mention giving incentive to a problem that even the most progressive members of society admit is out of control.
He’d be far more useful as a USSC Justice then in the senate or presidency.
Cruz is half right. The states are not responsible to educate illegal aliens. The opinion clearly stated that it could and should be revisited in the future. The ruling was not forever. The ruling sided with what was in the public’s best interest at the time. It did not provide for endless uncontrolled illegal immigration. Back in 1982 Texas was spending I think 65 million. Now it’s over 9 billion. the court held that it wasnt enough money to be concerned with yet... It can be challenged and should be. In fact the kids did not do well and their father could care less when he was interviewed 25 years later. but what school district will fight it now? its just like birth certificates, why are states giving out citizenship? they dont have to. ps the school district wanted some money for the kids. they didnt shut them out. we are screwed. we are not even allowed to make sure only our citizens are allowed to vote. simply because some folks have a different color skin. how stupid is that. hispanics in particular dont even know they are caucasion.
Of course there is a strong argument. How can you possibly torture the Constitution around to say that a person who is in this country illegally has to be given an education? Its insane.
