“Boehner is up for election again in 18 months, he barely got out of the last primary. Let’s find someone who can beat him this time and get him the $ he needs to do it...”
Boehner, and several of the worst RINOs, will not lose a primary.
They will lose a general election if a conservatives candidate is in it.
And there’ll still be a Republican majority in the House.
Strategy: without it no one ever won.
Gee, his toddy Eric Cantor lost to an underfunded no one in hisprimary.
Boehner lost 29% of the primary vote to two unknown underfunded nobodies with little to no name recognition
So when the House Majority Leader can muster less than 75% of his own parties votes, he is most certainly vulnerable. A motivated well funded candidate could certainly create a World of trouble for him.
The fact that he had TWO challengers in the Primaries caused him to spend millions of dollars on his reelection.
He spent more than $9.5 million against them and the Democrat whom between the three of them they spent less than $25,000 combined.
If a conservative can not win a Republican Primary,he will not win a general election. Certainly he will not win one as a candidate for a third party. Just ask Jim Condit Jr. the Constitution Party candidate that came in a distant third place against Boehner in the General Election in the OH 8th district.
The only way to get rid of them is to primary them. Take over the party on a local level and his base dries up.
