the NYT made a choice
*************
Yep they did....
Pardon me. You seem incredibly arrogant - all knowing - all seeing. With just a little effort, like he was watching Oprah during the day. What a boob.
“Politicians identify as liberals and conservatives and simply hide the fact that they all work for the same people from their respective voting bases.
Obama, moose, sharpton, etc., want to appear to their goofy supporters that they are die-hard leftist.
Da Bushes want to appear to their goofy supporters that they are die-hard conservatives.”
Only true at the National level, and then, it often takes a little time to corrupt them.
At the state and local level, there are considerable differences.
Nationwide at all levels government is groupthink.
This is because the financial elites for over a century have put all sorts of national organizations in place to “standardize” things across the nation, in every city, town and 1-light village.
You see endless statewide efforts to “standardize” across each state. All of these are organized for a clear purpose - to nullify any signficant effect citizens may exert on government to oppose the programs of the elites.
Case in point: in the state of NJ, boards of education (there are over 500 towns in the state) all go to “training” to “learn” how to serve on the school board.
Dissent is vigorously purged from school boards in NJ.
The idea is clear: spend as much as possible and adopt the programs of the elites.
School boards are simply minions of the elite banking families - but they have no idea that they are !
It’s funny when you think about it, how stubborn people are at admitting what goes on. Even when you can see the programs rolling out in the schools.
People don’t even understand that the “traditional” programs that they vehemently support (my kid is going to be in football, the band, etc.) are all designed by the elites for a purpose: turning them into idiot robot sheeple.
Stalin had them erased, not “cropped out” (ie altering the picture rather than showing only part of the picture).

I don’t think the NYTimes could get away with the former.
