Colin Powell Still Sees 'Dark Vein' of Intolerance in GOP

Speaking on the day following the 50-year anniversary of "Bloody Sunday" in Selma, Alabama, the first African-American Secretary of State Colin Powell said he still sees a "dark vein" of intolerance in the Republican Party, echoing comments that he made in 2013.

"I still see it. I still see it in the Republican Party and I still see it in other parts of our country. You don't have to be a Republican to be touched by this dark vein," Powell told ABC's George Stephanopoulos Sunday on "This Week."

Between colon, nobama, CalypsoLouie, RevAl and every other uppity calling every thing racist and 95% of blacks voting over and over for the worst POTUS in history, its looking more and more like “right on” to paint em with a broad brush.

Same guy that covered for Richard Armitage and let Scooter Libby take the fall. He knew all along who spilled the beans on Valerie Plame, yet he sat there and said nothing. Not much of a man if you ask me.

Hmmm. Well, he is a war hero, right? He was well boosted, by the heavies, on the site of supposed conservative value. Popular politics is unnerving to the steady hands of reason. General Colin Powell is a disappointment. The reality of good faith direction, is hardly ever, a popular choice, by candidate. May God, give us our course...
