While there are countless critics who contend President Obama has not done enough for Black people, Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach took a different, preposterous approach.
The staunch anti-immigration advocate agreed with a caller on his radio show that said Obama would forgive African-Americans accused of a crime, charged with a crime, is not going to be prosecuted, regardless of the crime, based on his recent immigration action.
Kobach, unfortunately, did not dispute the caller, named Stu. In fact, he added to the outlandish notion.
Well, its already happened more or less in the case of civil rights laws, he said. I guess its not a huge jump. I think its unlikely, but you know Ive learned to say with this president, never say never.
It was a stunning exchange that crystalized the divide and perception about crime and race in America. FBI and Justice Department statistics have indicated Blacks receive more prison time than whites for the same offense and that whites, by the raw numbers, commit more crimes than Blacks, whether it violent crime, crimes against each other, children, mates, etc.
Kobach also claimed that Holder basically made it clear. . . that the civil rights laws were only to protect minority races, and he was not going to be enforcing them to the benefit of white people who were discriminated against on the basis of their race.
Kobach chooses to ignore the Justice Departments decisions to not file civil rights violations charges in three of the most significant crimes in recent yearsthe deaths of unarmed Black males Trayvon Martin, Eric Garner and Michael Brown at the hands of white men, including two police officers.
It is a head-shaking perspective, considering the fact that for hundreds of years whites have not been prosecuted for committing brutal crimes against Black people, such as the thousands who were lynched during the 19th and 20th century. In the minds of many, that legacy of lynching is Americas own version of the holocaust. But while Jews have spent decades hunting down every single living Nazi involved in the horrors of the concentration camps, white Americans who participated in lynchings have been allowed to walk freely mostly without fear of retribution.
Kobach is a prominent anti-immigration activist who led many state laws restricting immigration, including the Arizona law that was struck down in part by the Supreme Court. As Kansass secretary of state, hes spearheaded laws making it harder to vote.
Also, this is not the first time Kobach made controversial statements about Obama. In November, he blamed affirmative action culture on Obamas success, concluding that the president received jobs and accolades that Obama was not winning on his own. Kobach also argued that Obamas efforts to benefit immigrants could put America on a path toward ethnic cleansing in the future.
After the first paragraph I realized the headline was garbage. If these people don’t want to share the country with us they can leave or start a fight.
I like this guy.
They want an ‘equality of results’ in criminal prosecution just like in expulsions from schools. Black kids can fight and not get expelled; whites are thrown out. Same crimes but different outcomes based on race.
Obama’s twisted, sick, anti-American criminal acts have spawned this kind of insane crap.
When has a 12% minority ever fought and won over a 72% majority?
More effing lies from the communist media ... Here are the FACTS of who is doing the crime upon whom!

When I say “these people” I mean God hating letists. I don’t care about skin color.
The president does not have power over local district attorneys that prosecute 99% of people accused of a crime.
The author’s head has been filled with racial myths, which are supported by the current President of all the people, his racist A.G., as well his racist political party.
THIS IS the problem. They stir up the targeted in our society, and point the finger at those that support the targeted. Owning the news media they can do this, and get away with it.
Democrats like throwing gas on the fire, or providing precisely the wrong medicine for the ailment. It helps them in their quest for power.
With everything Obama is doing isn’t really obvious he’s trying to piss of white people any way he possibly can for the next two years. Actually I think he’s made a game of it. Maybe we can start a rumor that the Emancipation Provcamation was a fraud and never happened....: )

Agreed. I think it is going to come down to a fight. In my opinion, a fight is what their President and his administration want. Could this be part of the reason for his open doors policy? Allies.
I for one would not be surprised. Probably before the next election.
But then again, I was very surprised that there were no riots er peaceful protests today in SELma.
Al Sharpton owes millions in taxes yet is invited to the White House to pal with the President. That says it all. Sharpton will never be made to pay those taxes.
Whom did Obama side with in Ferguson, the Trayvon matter, and the Henry Louis Gates controversy? He sent what, three officials to Michael Brown’s funeral? Obama totally ignores black-on-white crime. When has he ever sided with a white against a black?
Yes, I believe that if he could, he would make it where blacks could commit crimes without punishment, or at the very least, he’d make it against the law for whites to defend themselves against blacks.
I did not look at the link that was in this post but in the past statistics on crime were skewed. The Crime statistics included Hispanics as whites. I think Hispanics have been given their own category in the crime statistics now. I wonder if statistics might still be skewed because I do not know who is being counted as white or Hispanic. The United States has been looking at most of the problems with the races as problems between black and white people. White and Black people are the two largest populations in the United States but also the public mind in the United States may simplify any problems we have by thinking in terms of Black and White solutions. In this way all problems are quickly and easily solved without giving any consideration for details or any grey area. People are not just black or just white. Solutions to problems are not just black or white. Not too long ago when political correctness was not given much consideration I remember that derogatory terms were used to identify Polish, German, French, Jews, and Russian people. There maybe some other cultures that were ridiculed that I am not remembering. Comedy skits were performed on TV and people laughed at the jokes and watched the shows. People may look for human characteristics that set themselves or their group apart. Even if everyone was white I think they want to find differences between each other. Characteristics would be used to separate our group and also to promote our group and prove that we belong to the best group. Some people want to think they are the best person in the best group.
Is that not in fact the case?
By the same token, the argument that we will not be safe without a Dept. of Homeland Security, when there are 50 states doing the same thing, probably, better and cheaper.
Headline is nonsense. Leftists hate Kobach.
Pennsylvania is dismantling the Dept. of Corrections with the help of the DOJ. Every crook can now get a new code that will make them mentally ill and when the do their minimum sentence they will be eligible for the free ride called welfare.
Am I mis-remembering or did our widely esteemed Attorney General say that he would not be prosecuting blacks for some period of time? Am I mis-remembering that there were two Black Panthers clearly inside the limits of a voting zone during the 2010 or 2012 election obviously to intimidate voters and that our widely esteemed Attorney General didn’t feel that they merited his attention?
