When Kennedy was elected - the paranoia was he would be President of Catholics - and the Pope would have great influence. From day one JFK showed the country he was President of the United States - not of 'Catholics'.
Because of Kennedy's graciousness the question didn't even come up when Obama was running - but Obama and Holder have betrayed that trust.
