Forget conservative does he even appoint a republican

He's term-limited to two consecutive terms (can sit out a term, then run for a third). Chances are he'll appoint himself.

IMHO anyways.

Which I may not have that much of a problem with. He's no Conservative, but he has done a fair job of goring a few of the Democrats' sacred cows, has a proven track record of winning the state and being 1 out of a hundred would fit the role of bombastic Senator pretty well.
