Given the amount of money he has, shouldn't he have had the engine completely overhauled, with new parts machined from scratch, if necessary? Or do these guys get a kick out of the pilot's equivalent of Russian roulette?
A power off landing in a plane that light and easy to fly should be a piece of cake. I do not understand why the all seem to bend the airplane when this happens. I can land a Cessna 150 on a par three, engine out one eye shut.
