Fighter Plane LOL! Reporters are so stupid. I am in Oklahoma and can tell from here that the plane in the picture is not a fighter of any type, but is a trainer.
It is possibly a PT-13 or similar 30’s-40’s primary trainer.
Docile, so long as it has even a modicum of airspeed.

I’m reasonably sure it’s a Ryan PT-22. Fun airplane to fly. The stall can be a bit abrupt. The throttle I think, is just a volume control for the engine. Never seemed to run any faster, just louder even thought he tach said otherwise.
