Do govt. workers still get paid when there is a snow emergency? Military members do. Civilians have administrative leave, but I am not sure what that means.
With being snowed in today, I am still doing things I would have done at work. Except for looking at FR, which I never do at work.

Do govt. workers still get paid when there is a snow emergency? It really is a major hassle for government workers, as they trudge to work in the snowstorm so that they can get shut-IN, to collect storm double- and over-time.

Yes, they do. They classify it as administrative leave for hazardous weather.

And, on the Federal side, do government workers get make up pay without makeup work after a shutdown? Same principle... they always collect, we always pay.
