I interviewed with Target back in mid-80’s to computerize their stores.
I’m not exactly sure they knew what a computer was used for back then.
Probably still don’t.

Sure they do - it’s a large data storage electronic device that we leave open to the outside world so we can be transparent to all who would desire our customers’ personal info.
