Wavering indicates a lack of conviction.
Dr. Carson was brave to say what he said, but to allow the libs to run him out of the room so to speak, when he knows what their reaction will be, shows either inexperience or lack of real belief in one’s positions or bothone cannot let fear take hold. As Winston Churchill once said, “Never, never, never give up.”

I don’t think Dr. Carson shows a lack of conviction. Granted he probably has never faced the presstitutes before and this will be a good early learning experience for him. How he answers to similar “gotcha” questions in the future will tell if he has or has not learned from this experience
